Genesis - A concept album delving into the idea of human evolution and its counterparts.
I marks the beginning of this journey when we find that self replicating rna manipulates itself into complex shapes and thus becomes the foundation for other things to come.
II represents dna based life, separating data from function. Error correction, redundancy, and amplification of protein synthesis will pave the way for adaptive subsystems such as defense mechanisms and the nervous system.
More to come...

Altered tuning G# and my first attempt at using Reason 3's mastering suite.
Starts off in a dreamy state using lots of nice big 7Madd13 chords then swells...(litterally) into super chug chug land.
I also tried experimenting with different timings such as 9/4 and 10/4 to get that rhythmic stutter feel.
Iv included Guitar Pro tab and pdf tab as well!!!
Enjoy!!!

In the key of B minor and inspired by the artist Bulb. I was going for a "change of season" feel, kind of like my version of a "summer" song. Lots of guitar seperation with driving bass and pretty straight forward drums. The only thing missing so far is a solo...o, and the rest of the song. It makes me think of some kind of journey across something...

This is the first set of songs i started writing after i got my new Line 6 Pod XT Pro and holy crap can you tell the difference in tone!! The new guitar and bass tracks have much more smack, warmth and realism than before, and i also have the ability to edit my patches on the computer like i do with my vetta II.
It starts off going "whaaaant whaaaant whaaaant whaaaant" then speeds off into crunch chuug land!! mmm crunch... and as usual, a work in pgogress.

This song is sorta structured off of a 2,5,1 pattern out of the B minor scale and based off of a few main chords: C#dim, F#aug, Bmin, and G#aug. The drums are pretty straight forward and are mainly 4/4 with a few off time accents here and there. The solo kinda goes in and out of Amaj and Bmaj and is still a work in progress.

This is what you get when you cross a master jazz pianist on guitar and vocals and if Tomas Haake and Chris Adler had a son on drums. You can hear Adams original version here before i laid the drum tracks down. WARNING: MAY CAUSE SEIZURES OR OTHER UNCONTROLLED MUSCLE SPASMS!!!

I think this was actually the 5th version of the song before Bens vocals were actually added, and is predominantly in a kind of A harmonic minor key with lots of -3rd harmonys. It starts off with a Hanger 18 feel then quickly morphs from mellow and solom to a choppy drone like hum with a hint of meshuggah in the middle section. And no, thats not a toilet flushing, they're repeated screams...however they were done in my bathroom...so...

BEHOLD!!! THE 20 PIECE KRISPY!!!!!
Finally, i was able to get 2 redrum samplers in reason, to rewire with Sonar. So instead of a 10 piece drum kit, im now roll'n with a 20 piece!!!! w00t!
So many cymbals...so little time...
Quick chord changes and tons of chunk!!! I was going for lots of guitar seperation with a walking bass line that would compliment the stereo field. I believe i wrote this piece predominatly in C Phrygian with lots of accidentals. A work in progress...

This song was my second attempt at using both Sonar and Reason, "rewired" together...no luck...still sport'n the 10 piece. I was originally going for a kind of Opeth'y feel. Lots of minor chords flying around and then the Prototype clean breakdown with accompanying solo. And of course, no Juice song would be complete without the 808 sonic booms!!! Actually, the sample's called "boom" lol, go figure.
I personally like the panning jun juns towards the end!!!

This was one of the first full length songs i compiled using, what is now, my current recording set up. It was originally named bdgf#aug and took about 3 days to finish. Because it is one of my eariler songs using Reason and Sonar, it only consists of a ten piece drum kit and no synths.
This song is predominantly in the key of B minor with exception to the chorus where there are a few accidentals. The songs solo starts with basicly a D Major scale descending, and after a few other basic runs, the solo ends on the same run, but an octave higher and with a B Major scale.
